Richard Taylor

Retired schoolteacher Richard Taylor, 55, is a builder of early keyboard instruments. Using the traditional skills of an instrument maker and working in the appropriate materials and styles of the period the Suffolk Craft Society member creates keyboard insturments of the 16th, 17th and 18th century. His instruments are frequently played in recitals and have been used in concerts presented at the Aldeburgh Festival.
