Taralee Guild

Taralee Guild was born in 1984 and grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Currently, she lives and works in Vancouver, BC. She received a BFA in Visual Arts from Emily Carr University in 2010. Her artistic practice is entirely focused on painting. The dichotomies of painting vs. photography and abstraction vs. realism often inform her work. Creating painting series, her main motifs have been Airstream trailers, film stills, and forest scenes. Guild has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions and her artwork has been internationally collected.
